No Fill for Me

I went to my appointment this morning. I saw the NP and she was thrilled that I had lost 12 pounds since my last visit. I told her that I wasn't thrilled because most of that was lost prior to summer and that I had not lost any since June. I was also very honest about the crap I had been eating over the summer. I told her I didn't really want another fill because I felt like once I went back to work I would be on schedule again and I would start losing again. She agreed and told me to come back in October for blood work...before then if I felt like I needed a fill. I have only had 2 fills and I would be thrilled if I didn't have to have another...but if I ever feel like I need it, I won't hesitate to get it.

After I left my doctor's office I went to Ross. We don't have one here in town, but there is one right down from my doctor. I bought these nifty little containers...

I love the little removable ice packs for the lids and the measurement on them.

As the week comes to end I can say that I am now back on track...yay me!

Happy Friday! Toodles!

I hear you about the schedule. You are doing great if you can not gain with a whole summer off. I seem to gain over just a weekend of no schedule.

Sounds like really good thinking/communication with your NP about the fill. While of course you'd rather see more loss since June, your attitude about the whole thing seems right on target. I have a hard time when my routine is thrown off, too. I have to create a routine, or I get nothing done.

I'm with CJ....great communication. It's easy to get a fill but doing the work I believe helps in the long run.

Love me some Ross.

Ok, so I said I was going to Ross and I did! I also went to the website for Fit & Fresh company. ttp://www.fit-fresh.com/shop/

I found a list of all of the stores that carry them (Bed Beth & Beyond was where I was going to go if Ross didn't have 'em).

So, if anyone reading this wants to see some of the other sizes, I'm going to post pics on my blog of the multipack thing that I got. At my Ross store, they were in the special college-ish section. WAY COOL. Thank you thank you for letting us know about these!!

Pics should be up in a few minutes.
